Our Story
Elegant by Design is a husband and wife boutique design and production company — it's a vision inspired by our own love story, and a desire to create beautiful experiences with purpose. Together, we bring over 29+ years of combined white-glove experience in logistical set-up and event planning, including a background in psychology and executive leadership.
What began as a family passion- when we were entrusted with designing and producing a loved one's wedding-quickly rekindeled a long held vision: to create experiences: to create unforgettable experiences through intentional timeless designs. From weddings, to corporate gatherings, and celebrations- to refined setups and design, we serve with both skill and heart — because every detail matters.
With a keen eye for detail, seamless logistical flow, and an understanding of how atmospheres influences the human experience, our design team and Director of Logistics, work together to transform your vision into an unforgettable celebration. Known for her ability to transform ordinary spaces into elegant atmospheres, Shontorial brings a sensory approach to every celebration she curates — whether a wedding, milestone event, or conference.
With years of leadership experience and a lifelong passion for the art of elevating hosting experiences, she has a unique gift for making people feel seen, celebrated, and at peace. Her mission is simple: to transform atmospheres through designing beautiful unforgettable moments.
As a wife, and executive leadership coach, Shontorial infuses excellence, and care into every aspect of her work. Whether she’s curating a tablescape, creating a timeline, or designing mockups and mood boards.
When she’s not designing events, you’ll find her encouraging leaders, mentoring women, or serving in her community. For Shontorial, event designing isn’t just work — it’s a calling.
